TGMG physicians provide care at convenient locations throughout the Tampa area.
Job Summary
Provides administrative oversight of the medical office through administration of finances, personnel, educational programs, public relations and physical resources. Interviews, hires, and assigns work to and evaluates work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Bachelors’ degree required. Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or health administration preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a physician office within the specialty area managed. Knowledge of Specialty specific billing, coding, inpatient and outpatient work. Progressive supervisory experience including financial analysis required. Proficient in using computer applications for analyzing data, communicating, and producing reports.
