This job posting is for a Full Time, Evening shift OR Care Technician position at St. Joseph’s South Hospital in Riverview, FL.
The OR Care Technician I is a member of the health care team who performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers. Preferred 1 year of experience in procedural and/or perioperative in patient care.
