The Database Manager will support the Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Acquisition Management & Integration Center (AMIC) to support its Counter Narcotics & Global Threats (CNGT) division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform a wide variety of complex duties in support of CNGT but will focus on the administration and maintenance of a complex, cloud structured Government database to house counter narcotics metrics information and store USG owned data in support of counter-narcotics requirements.
• Develop, administer, and maintain a complex Government database to house counternarcotic metrics data/information on USG-owned server, "Cloud," and/or internet-based environments as mission requirements evolve (e.g., Amazon Web Service, CENTCOM Cloud or network drives, SharePoint, etc.);
• Learn and Adapt new database-oriented technologies for use at USCENTCOM for the Counternarcotic Division.
• Maintain current developed web-based platform as a means to host historical CN/IW data, information, and metrics.
• Plan, oversee, and conduct (as necessary) the migration of data from the Amazon Cloud environment to other areas, such as a physical server in CENTCOM or Cloud operated by CENTCOM, as directed by the USG.
• Ensure continuous maintenance and operation of USG-owned data file structures.
• Edit, update, modify database web-based platform as directed by USCENTCOM PM.
• Provide the USG with a minimum of thirty (30) access/log-in points with concurrent read and write access.
• Expand the development of the Assessment Monitoring and Evaluation (AM&E) area to include the capability to host surveys, and to tally the results in a report.  The surveys may be changed quarterly as directed by the USCENTCOM PM.  The surveys must be accessible to persons who do not have a user account for the database to provide access to the survey only.
• Develop and construct a new area for the database to include financials as directed by the USCENTCOM PM.
• Perform SharePoint administrative, design, development, portal maintenance duties, and provide ad hoc SharePoint training.
• Participate in researching and investigating new improved technologies business processes, procedures, methods, and/or approaches of continuous improvement with J3-IAG.
• Develop, propose, and establish a business analysis strategy and processes to facilitate information sharing for intelligence and counternarcotic data flow in USCENTCOM, Theater of Operations, and other Joint Command on various classification and domain requirements.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 8-years’ database management experience
• A minimum of an associate degree is required in Information Technology, Database Management, or an associated field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Candidates must be US Citizens
• Candidates will be subject to a US Federal Government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent IT task management, scheduling, and analytical skills
• Prior military or Federal agency experience is a plus
• Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check as a condition of employment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Workspace will be in a US Government Facility with controlled access and/or military installation
