**Description** The Lead Agilist will join the portfolio management team and serve as a catalyst for identifying and applying new ways of working. This person will be responsible for optimizing the flow of value throughout the portfolio through the enablement of lean practices and an agile environment within ATX. The Lead Agilist's role is a strategic one that fosters organizational agility by leading transformation of processes and methods within the organization's core business. **Responsibilities** + Create, maintain, and enhance an Agile Community of Practice + Coach and grow other roles, colleagues, and leaders in becoming better agilists, team members, and leaders + Work with product teams to create the conditions that foster agility while maintaining stability + Think 'outside the box' and look beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities and provide tactical and strategic solutions + Encourage Team Level, program level, and value stream level Continuous Integration and Communities of Practice around SAFe, Agile, and Lean + Be a servant leader with the ability to apply systems thinking and lead an organization through organizational change by gaining trust, respect, and support + Understand when to be a facilitator, coach, teacher, or mentor... recognizing when newer teams need more high-touch attention, and as you empower teams to mature, shifting focus to a broader scope of support + Development and optimization of materials, trainings, coaching opportunities, and related tools to create and advance an Agile environment built on collaboration, communication, visibility, and engagement + Serve across different stages of teams' agile journeys, from introductory training and coaching, to continuous improvement for high-performing teams + Support the adoption of appropriate approaches and techniques that enable agility across teams (e.g. Scrum, Lean thinking, Kanban) + Identify, utilize, and educate around appropriate metrics that enable continuous improvement + Provide strategies for how to decentralize decision making when needed and lessen dependencies on a traditionally top-down approach to decision making + Apply system thinking to surface the bottlenecks and dysfunctions + Facilitate large events /open dialog sessions to enable agility + Collaborate with leaders across the organization to contextually adapt practices and governance that enables organizational agility, including coaching on agile practices **Experience Required** + Bachelor's Degree or related experience + 6+ years of demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, with progression to a Release Train Engineer or Agile Program Management in a scaled environment or related experience + Have been part of organizational transformations and knows how to incorporate change management techniques effectively + Exceptional leadership skills; knows how to co-create a vision, reinforce it, and align teams, stakeholders, and an organization around that vision + Demonstrated experience with standard software development practices and concepts that support agile methods of work + Experience with tools that aid agile teams (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, collaboration tools, etc), including knowing how to streamline or optimize tools to encourage collaboration and transparency + Experience applying various agile frameworks, philosophies, and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) + Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and a deep understanding of facilitation techniques + Demonstrated advanced ability to operate using analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and program management skills + Works effectively in ambiguous situations and environments, and can work with others to reach clarity + Experience in creating Agile training and workshop materials + Supports other Agilists and delivery team members through training, mentoring, and sharing of leading practices **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
