Position Details Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
Work Location: Tampa Florida

We are looking for an entry level Accounting Specialist who is comfortable working in a team environment. Candidate should feel confident performing entry level accounting functions as well as fulfilling administrative needs of department.

Duties and Responsibilities Proficient in processing accounts payable
Administrative and clerical support to accounting department
Accounts receivable – receiving and processing payments
Verifying and reconciling invoices
Create and update vendor accounts
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries
Maintain company credit cards – purchase orders and payments
Assist with maintaining Certcapture – updating resale certificates
Assist with credit card processing
Requirements
Educational/Experience Requirements High School Diploma
2+ years previous office experience
Prior accounts payable experience
Prior knowledge of accounting, basic accounting principles
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail/ organizational skills
Ability to multitask / time management skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office
Excel
Accounting software
