Assistant General Counsel - Product Design
As an assistant general counsel in Progressive’s corporate law organization, you will lead a team of attorneys in our Product Design Practice Group (PDPG).  You’ll work on a variety of legal issues regarding the design, implementation, compliance, and maintenance of Progressive’s personal lines products. You’ll handle matters of significant legal complexity with opportunities to be a strategic, hands-on legal partner to Progressive’s business leaders.
Location: Open to both remote locations as well as Progressive office locations.
Must have qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate
• Active or Corporate license in state where working
• Minimum 8 years of legal experience/training
Preferred skills:
• Management experience
• Product design and/or other regulatory compliance experience in the insurance industry
• Ability to be precise about identifying possible outcomes and assessing the probability of any of those outcomes occurring
• Sound analytical, problem solving, risk assessment, negotiation, and legal skills
• Experience researching and applying laws to complex business circumstances
Compensation
• Salary range: $127,100 - $181,500/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• Participation in our restricted stock units plan
