Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Revenue Accounting Consultant. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Revenue Accounting Consultant will prepare revenue recognition journal entries on a monthly basis
• Prepare entries for changes in estimates such as duration and mix of members
• The Revenue Accounting Consultant will oversee the financial reporting of disaggregated revenue and segment reporting
• Create analysis on the retention of members and segregate data to analyze the demographics of the customer base
• Revenue Accounting Consultant will assist with the on-boarding of new contracts and carriers to ensure the financial statements are disaggregated at a granular enough level for the FP&A to forecast
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required
• 3+ years of experience with a mix of public accounting and industry
• Prior experience with revenue recognition and how to analyze key estimates is required
• Effective interpersonal and written/verbal/listening communication skills, including how to effectively communicate changes in estimates to key leaders in the business
• Experience with software implementation including an ERP system, accounts payable, travel and entertainment, and financial reporting software is preferred
• Willingness to learn new responsibilities and work with multiple team members
• Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Microsoft Excel
