SYSTEMS ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY:
We're looking for a talented Systems Engineer who has the experience necessary to help build out our existing infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. This position will be responsible for the end to end server infrastructure and will act as an escalation point for Help Desk functions across the 80+ locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Developing, maintaining, and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components (VMware and multiple storage platforms)
• Performing installation, maintenance, optimization, and support of system software and hardware
• Providing support and technical expertise in Directory Services technology both on-prem and AzureAD/Office365 , including DNS, GPO, ADFS, DFS, SSL Certificates, Domains and Trust, Sites and Services, and Role-Based Access Control
• Providing support and technical expertise for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office365, and OneDrive
• Performing high-level root cause analysis in support of service interruption recovery, as well as creating and documenting preventive measures
• Handle escalations with end-user support and Help Desk functions, tier 3 support issues
• Provide support with networking hardware and configuration
• Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Assist in providing support for new office setups.

6 + years of experience as a system engineer
4 + years of VMware and SAN storage experience
10 + yea r s o f W i ndo w s D e s k t o p an d Se r ve r Suppo r t
E D U C ATION
• Ba c he l o r ' s d e g r e e i n a computer-related discipline or equivalent work experience
• VMware Certified (VCP) a plus, not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Essential elements of English language usage, spelling, and arithmetic.
• Must have attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to utilize Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Knowledge of office methods, practices, and procedures, and the ability to make mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions.
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships as part of a team effort with those contacted in duties' performance, including all other employees and customers.
