Full Job Description Starting wages: $12.36 hourly. AmeriCorps Senior Companion Program. Will provide programmatic support to the Program Director and will be directly involved with the volunteer sites and site supervisors. Will assist with the recruitment, screening, training, placement and evaluation of the volunteers and volunteer sites. Will be required to pass a criminal background check and be bondable. Working 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. This program is funded in part through a grant from AmeriCorps.
An Associate degree in human services or related field and/or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of gerontology is required. Experience with programs of volunteerism desired.
