Full Job Description Position Title : Recruiter and HR Gen – Part-time – hourly rate
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Department Name : Human Resources
Reports to : Chief Operating Officer
Location: Tampa, Florida office
Primary Purpose and Function :
Syft is a leading provider of Supply Chain Automation and Analytics solutions to US hospitals. Syft has been in business over 21 years, is private equity backed and has a long list of prestigious clients to its credit. Syft has 85 employees, mainly based in the Tampa, FL office and a similar number of technical employees in its Hyderabad, India office. Syft is seeking to add a Part-time Professional Recruiter to our Human Resources team.
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
· Collaborates with Chief Operating Officer to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
· Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
· Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
· Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Assists with various projects in the HR Department.
· Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
· Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
· Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
· Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by Syft management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job :
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent and demonstrable MS Office skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Experience using online recruitment sites – LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter.
· Specific experience utilizing candidate databases from LinkedIn and other recruiting tools.
· 5-10 years’ experience in a professional recruitment role, including public and private searches.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
· Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
· At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
· SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
Physical Demands :
· Position will work from the Syft Tampa office, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
· Little, if any travel required.
Company Policy/Procedure Compliance :
The Recruiter will be obligated to comply with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to any Customer Business Associate Agreements that the company may enter into, in addition to complying with other Human Resources requirements. In discharging the duties of this position, the Recruiter may come into contact with confidential patient identifiable electronic health information and will be obligated to maintain the confidentiality of this information and report any breach immediately to the proper hospital authorities.
