Kforce has a rapidly growing client that is looking for a PHP/Laravel Developer with experience developing websites and API/Back-end solutions to provide an unparalleled digital experience in Tampa . The Developer will leverage innovative technologies such as PHP, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3 to develop mobile responsive websites and applications in an agile environment. Responsibilities of the PHP/Laravel Developer:
• Developer will collaborate with the product owner to articulate the best technological business solution
• Analyze user story acceptance criteria to ensure the technical feasibility and point out potential issues
• Work with a team of developers to deliver on time and scope
• Architect and develop broadly compatible products, features, and bug fixes with consideration for accessibility, performance, and multilingual installations
• As a PHP/Laravel Developer, you will write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind (documentation and unit tests)
• Develop and maintain API and Back-end solutions that are performant and resilient
• Implement complex features using modern PHP code and patterns while following standards
• Develop WordPress widgets, Plug-ins, Custom post types, and page templates
• Code review the work of other Developers
• Improve internal tools, libraries, standards, and Continuous Integration
• Developer will actively participate in our scrum meetings
• Work with the team to diagnose and resolve bugs and support requests
• Implementation of restful services
• Three (3) plus years of experience developing web-based applications
• Three (3) plus years of hands-on experience with relevant API technologies
• Comprehensive understanding of what it takes to write secure and performant code
• Thorough knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES6), WordPress, HTML5, Sass, and CSS3
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Principals, software development life cycle, and best practices
• Understanding working with automated testing frameworks
• Understanding with continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines
• Unit testing concepts
• Understanding of RESTful Web Services technologies such as JSON, SOAP, and HTTP
• Experience using GIT software
• Agile Development experience
