ProLift Toyota Material Handling is searching for a Field Service Support Supervisor to coordinate field service activity and provide administrative support to the Customers and Service Technicians for the Owensboro, Henderson, and Madison, KY area.  Successful Field Service Support Supervisor (FSS) will organize and control service repairs through the use of available resources.  The FSS will provide leadership and direction to improve the Service Department’s effectiveness with the goal of becoming an “ Indispensable Partner ” to all customer internal and external customers.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Complete scheduled Technician Performance-Wage reviews
• Prepare field service estimates as needed
• Customer visits; including service disputes, quote follow up and customer relations
• Schedule and complete quarterly meetings with target accounts
• Support Technicians while in the field; including technician needs, efficiencies, training
• Track open repair orders and ensure timely follow-up
• Perform PM and GPS Audits
• Ensure vans are clean and organized and represent Prolift in a professional manner
• Ensure technicians present themselves in a professional manner
• Assist with after-hour calls
• Monitor and work towards Toyota’s Service Excellence Awards
• Monitor and suggest interactions around ProLift Tech Career Path
• Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner
• Monitor daily PM completion for team
• Ensure that quality and timeliness of repairs exceeds customer expectations
• Help Plan and coordinate daily activity of field service technicians in conjunction with Customer Team Coordinator
• Advise service manager of equipment and capital items to provide best service possible
• Manage customer service initiatives (Used Voice of the Customer and Loyalty Guarantee) Promote ProLift’s philosophies, vision, strategies, and value of “Doing the Right Thing”
• TLM “’Toyota Lean Management” philosophy
• Protects organizations values by keeping information confidential and ability to handle sensitive information
Education/Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers’ license & record
• Basic mechanical background
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Good organization skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office products
• Computer/Tablet skills required
Working Conditions and Abilities (including but not limited to):
• Occasionally work around exhaust fumes, gas, diesel, solvents, paints, thinners, etc.
• Occasionally walk up and down stairs
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs. – occasionally; Lift 25 lbs. or less frequently
• Push/pull objects up to 50 lbs. – occasionally
• Push/pull light objects frequently
• Perform gross body coordination such as walking, bending and stooping
• Hear normal sounds with some background noise constantly
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
