Kforce is currently seeking a Senior Application Software Engineer for our client in Tampa, FL. Summary: In this role, the Senior Application Software Engineer will design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. The Senior Application Software Engineer will also act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers. Responsibilities:
• Serves as second-tier technical support on application related issues, functional questions, and requests for change
• Migrate projects and other software objects affecting the environment through the defined migration paths for production support, development, upgrades, etc.
• Monitors metrics of system usage and identifies improvement areas
• Key point person for issue escalation to Taleo Technical Support
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
• Taleo Systems Certification is a strong plus
• 3+ years of related experience
• Requires demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field
• Demonstrated experience and ability to support the ERP related infrastructure components (operating system, database, storage, network, web/application servers, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of implementing and maintaining the ERP application toolset(s) for online, batch, reporting, integrations, and conversions
• Specific ERP application experience could be PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Lawson, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with hands on ERP development platforms across various HR and/or Financials modules
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working in ERP software development environments such as PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Lawson, etc.
• Advanced level experience with Taleo system administration; Version 10.1 or higher is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge\capabilities with Taleo Connect in an integrated environment
• Development and deployment experience with Business Object reports or a similar reporting package is required
• Ability to support Candidate Selection workflows based on OLF
• Experience with user defined field setup
