Job Summary:
The Experiential Learning Center (ELC) Success Coach will assist with connecting students to experiential learning opportunities (ELOs), preparing students for ELO’s, and assessing student performance. They will provide student services such as career exploration, resume development and interview preparation.
Duties:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties/responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Connect OCTC students to experiential leaning opportunities (ELOs)
• Conduct ELO student orientations and provide supports to students at the ELO site to promote success and retention
• Assist students with career exploration and developing a career plan
• Assist students with resume development and interview preparation
• Conduct ELC workshops covering topics including ELC introductions, Handshake overview and sign-up, career exploration, and financial literacy
• Assist with ELC services, including faculty support, delivering ELO Professional Development workshops, conducting community ELO forums, offering orientation programs, and related activities
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• One (1) year work experience (Higher Education, Leadership, Counseling, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
