The purpose of the individual contributor Organizational Change & Training Manager role is to help execute on the strategic direction for the change management practice by managing new initiatives, leveraging best practices to deliver value to the Organizational Change & Training (OC&T) practice and enabling our customers to successfully achieve with workforce transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports and leads large internal OC&T initiatives, acting as a subject-matter expert for the OC&T practice.
• Consistently produces exemplary customer-facing work; reinforces best practices and support to team members across the OC&T practice.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to drive business objective realization.
• Often serves as an oversight (Change Architect or Program Director) on the most challenging and complex engagements.
• Engaged in discovery, scoping and estimating of opportunities that concern complex, global implementation challenges.
• Establish metrics (KPIs, OKRs) to quantify the success of change management programs and provide remediation strategies.
• Demonstrate expert-level understanding of CYNERGY, Prosci, and internal OC&T methodologies, as evidenced by directing others to effectively develop and deliver all OC&T activities and deliverables, and encouraging members of the OC&T practice to cross-share information and promote continuous improvement; considered a resident OC&T expert across the organization due to change management skillset, thought leadership, and ability to make cross-functional connections.
• Develop strategies to enable customer adoption, organizational change by leveraging industry best practices.
• Shows the highest level of verbal, written and visual communication skills, as evidenced by facilitating difficult customer conversations clearly and effectively, and interfacing regularly with project PMO and Steering Committee with high degree of comfortability.
• Assemble lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the practice.
• Integrate partner offerings (e.g., Adopt, Phenom People, Utmost, Automation Anywhere) into the change management program; define business case and point of view from a change management perspective.
• Expand organizational design offerings to redefine our customers' business operational functions including Service Delivery Models, Shared Service Centers, and Centers of Excellence.
• Supervise the development of new tools and methodologies for the OC&T practice and act as a key approval of decisions related to practice methodology.
• Lead large internal initiatives that touch multiple parts of the company, generally associated with practice development and team operations.
Skills and Requirements:
• 5 years experience with workforce transformation projects
• MBA or BS information systems or general business management, or degrees in organizational psychology, communication studies, information systems, or related fields (or additional 3 years' Workday experience in a corporate implementation setting)
• Current Workday Core HCM or Workday Financials certification or ability to acquire it within 28 days of offer
• Experience with organization design, organization design, shared services models, business process optimization, digital transformation in various industries preferred
• Experience in business development, executive sponsor coalition facilitation, change governance, thought leadership desired
