This is an opportunity to build an Human Resources function from the ground up.
Who we are looking for:
This is not your average HR position.  We are looking for our first HR manager to implement culture, hire based on our brand standards, and continue the success we have started.  We are looking for someone experienced in creating culture, onboarding new hires, and providing training and support to get them acclimated to our company.
The ideal candidate for this position would plan, direct, and coordinate human resources functions such as recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. Collect, analyze, and interpret human resources data. Reports all incidents and coordinates with the COO on employee relations issues and opportunities.
What you will be doing:
• Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
• Hire employees and process hiring related paperwork.
• Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
• Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
• Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements.
• Prepare and run payroll.
• Administer recruitment or hiring activities.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Evaluate HR practices to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Maintain data in information systems or databases.
• Develop training materials, and train personnel to enhance job skills.
• Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with managers.

• Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
