Job Summary:
+ Provides technical and clerical assistance to facilitate effective and efficient operation of the provider credentialing and Professional Staff Organization function.
+ Maintains data on credentials of current staff.
+ Tracks and reports performance measures according to credentialing requirements.
+ Responsible for coordination and preparation of medical staff functions
+ Processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications for health careproviders.
+ Ensures that staff members credentials and licenses are valid and up-to-date.
+ Mails, reviews, and verifies credentialing applications.
+ Sets up and maintains provider information in an online credentialing database.
+ Maintains data on credentials of current staff.
+ Assists in compliance with the accrediting and regulatory agencies in regards to credentialing while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School diploma or GED (Associates degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred)
+ One (1) year of credentialing experience
Location ID – Cigar Factory Complex - CFC
Relocation is not provided and travel is not required.
