The Role: ERP Support Specialist - IT
The ERP Support Specialist role will entail functioning as a primary point of contact for users experiencing ERP problems. This role can involve watching, documenting, and identifying ERP functions and breaking down problems for end users. The ERP Support Specialist role would be responsible for effectively communicating problems and solutions to stakeholders and users inside all levels of the organization. This role requires having an in-depth understanding of all processes inside the ERP system as well as the ability to efficiently communicate issues and work strategically to resolve them.
What We Are Looking For
Responsibilities:
• Monitor helpdesk ticketing system for ERP related issues and provide support to end users
• Effectively diagnose user issues and needs and implement solutions with the IT team
• Maintain and update different databases across the company
• Assist the ERP Manager with the creation of training materials that pertain to troubleshooting and usage
• Create reports or dashboards within SSRS, PowerBI, Excel and other report building software
• Provide basic support for level 1 IT support tickets
Education and Skills:
• 2+ years of professional experience working with Sage 100 Cloud (formerly MAS90)
• Proficient in MS Office suite of programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Report development experience; SSRS and SQL preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience working on a Helpdesk, in IT, or similar technical function is desired but not required
