Robert Half has a local client looking for an outstanding Web Developer and Linux Systems Administrator to assist in the design, coding, and maintenance of our internally developed web-based CRM/ERP/OMS system.
Responsibilities include the care and feeding of our LAMP stack, including hardware, CentOS, MySQL database, PHP code, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript front end.
The person will report to and assist our senior developer/sys admin.
The person will have the opportunity to become a senior developer/sysadmin over time as they gain experience and familiarity with our unique IT environment.
This position is full-time, on-site in Odessa, FL.
Responsibilities
•   Write well designed, testable, efficient PHP code for generation of HTML/CSS/Javascript front end.
•   Utilize SQL to interface with MySQL databases.
•   Write PHP and bash scripts to support batch activities and reports.
•   Coordinate with our sales and operations teams to improve existing software and business processes.
•   Maintain Dell server hardware and CentOS/Unbuntu OS software, including hardware upgrades, disk maintenance, backup management, and installation and management of OS updates/patches.
•   Create and maintain documentation.
•   Be creative, learn new IT skills, and have fun.
