RESEARCH SYSTEMS ANALYST I Business & Information Technology Hours: 8 Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: NE N31 - 30.4500 - 38.2500
Position Highlights The Research Systems Analyst I (RSA-I) helps design, analyze, implement and support all research information systems and related applications. The scope of this position ranges from general support of existing software applications used within the Moffitt Research Institute (MRI), to assisting with the design and implementation of more complex systems and applications while utilizing Agile methodologies. Responsibilities Documents, assists with, and/or performs software installations, configurations, and customizations as required. Work / coordinate with vendor#s as needed. Help maintain production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management procedures are followed and security measures are maintained. Performs issue resolution and root cause analysis for issues that may arise at software, networking and/or OS level. Coordinate with various internal teams and vendors to ensure new research equipment containing IT components/technology is compatible with the Moffitt IT infrastructure and all Cyber security policies are met prior to purchase. Assists in documenting systems policies, procedures and training materials. Perform system assessments, process analysis, and requirements development in support of new system development and/or implementation Credentials and Experience Required: Bachelor#s Degree Five (5) years verifiable, relevant experience inInformation Technology within a business or healthcare industry may be considered in lieuof a bachelor#s degree Minimum two (2) years software application implementation and support in a Microsoft Windows environment Minimum two (2) years Microsoft Server support Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proven ability to learn new skills and technology Ability to work closely in a team environment Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills Demonstrated conflict management, organization, and time management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Visio, and website navigation Preferred: Experience in Agile / SDLC methodologies in application development and support JIRA experience Relevant experience in a healthcare IT environment Demonstrated understanding of Information Security practices in a healthcare setting Basic experience with SQL scripting on Oracle and SQL Server platforms
