We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team! The Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.  This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This position will be responsible for supporting all I.T. systems impacting end users throughout PPOA, and will interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of network systems, applications, and related products.
• Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general infrastructure management best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft, Unix, Linux, and Cisco (IOS) operating systems
• Solid networking background and familiarity with various protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF/EIGRP and configuration of VPNs
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Server 2012/2016, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and Group Policy
• Experience implementing and maintaining VMware, VSphere and Hyper-V
• System automation, advanced scripting, and implementation of enterprise monitoring tools
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of SQL Databases and best practices
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Communicate with all key stakeholders regarding enterprise software updates and upgrades, and lead teams through User Acceptance Testing and Quality Assurance for all software platforms
• Ability to prioritize and multi task in fast pace environment
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on numerous systems to provide support when required
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or I.T. leadership
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required
• Associates degree in a related field (business administration, computer science, nursing, etc.)
• 5-7 years in I.T. or medical business operations related to healthcare and clinical systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to quickly organize and prioritize competing priorities
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business administration, computer science, nursing, etc.) with 5-7 years in I.T. or medical business operations related to healthcare and clinical systems
• Experience working with the following systems: VMware, Cisco Switches, SonicWALLs, Azure, AWS, Office 365, Exchange 2013, and Windows Server
• Experience working in a medical office, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), revenue cycle and/or ancillary services (i.e. laboratory, pharmacy) setting highly desired
• Advanced data analytical skills
• Experience implementing, interfacing and maintaining various solutions and architectures
• Desire to continue to learn, and implement new technologies

• Experience with Greenway Intergy practice management/E.H.R. platforms
• Ability to create and manage a collaborative SharePoint site for all I.T. projects
• CCNA, or CCNP, CCIE a plus
• MCSA, or MCSE
• Cloud certifications from Azure, or AWS
Our corporate office is located in Tampa, FL. The job will be Monday through Friday.  Work hours will typically be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
