The developer will play a key role in designing and developing analytical solutions that are in alignment with Federated Enterprise Architecture standards and business needs. This encompasses technology roadmaps and the consideration of people, process, data, and technology, articulating the transition from current to future state. The developer will participate in product teams, contributing to iterative design, experimentation, and implementation.
Qualifications
Required :
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Building and managing data pipelines, databases and large-scale processing systems.
• Ability to utilize a diverse array of cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), open source technologies and tools as needed, to deliver Data & Analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python programming language including PySpark.
• Knowledge in working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building Data Lakes and using processing tools such as AWS Redshift, AWS EMR or Hadoop Cloudera.
• Knowledge of Consumption tools like Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, R, etc.
• Experience documenting standard methodologies and carrying out strong governance in a team is required.
• Experience with Scrum and an Agile Development environment is required.
• Experience with Enterprise Agile Tools like Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, Confluence.
• This position can be based out of Raritan, NJ, Rhode Island or Tampa, FL.
Preferred :
• Experience with data lineage, data profiler and metadata management tools and processes are preferred.
• Experience in developing data-centric APIs is preferred.
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge in data virtualization techniques, such as Denodo is preferred.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery concepts and tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Selenium, etc. is preferred.
