Full Job Description How You Will Contribute:
• Serves as the member of the press crew, but assisting machine operating, monitoring quality, and managing operation of stacker. * Meet customer needs by following specifications, stacking plans, quality requirements, and load tags * Performs daily/weekly machine crew level PM’s and as well as daily housekeeping, soaping anilox rolls, removing excess ink from cylinders, sweeping, removing clutter, organizing the workstation, storing tools, and disposing of all scrap and banding. * Commits to, follows, and upholds all company safety policies and practices. * Fully understands and executes requirements listed in the Job Safety Analysis for specific machine centers. Identifies and reports unsafe acts. Immediately reports an injury involving self or others on company property during work hours. Immediately reports non-injury accidents regardless if property damage occurred. * Follows Supervisory instructions while on the clock and obeys all handbook policies. Uses chain of command and open-door policy to resolve issues.
What it Takes: * Willing and able to follow safety requirements, including wearing PPE to include steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs * Performs basic SAE and metric math to read and interpret job ticket, utilize tools and instruments provided * Willing and able to use tape measure, calipers, electronic meters * Willing and able to use a computer for data entry, print job tickets, and read customer specifications * Ability to see and differentiate colors and shades of color by human eye * Ability to lift and push 50lbs What will put you ahead: * Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment or comparable industry * Experience working in the corrugated industry * Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment
