Responsibilities:
Leading a team of three QA Engineers, but being hands on.
Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols, early in the SDLC. In TeamSupport QA is developed along with the code and automation ready the day code is delivered.
Developing best-practice processes for automated and manual software test procedures.
Optimizing available test runs to maximize automations.
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
Expanding automation capabilities as new products and modules are added.
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
Integrating automation into the CI/CD process.
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Ensure report distribution to stakeholders.
Collaborating with the development team to help solve application faults.
Ability to train other technical and non-technical team members
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field.
Previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer in a SaaS environment.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Familiarity with programming and script languages including .NET, React, and JavaScript. Other languages will be added over time.
Be able to prepare presentations and other documents, presentable to senior management.
Good understanding of statistical correctness vs. one offs and use this knowledge to drive decisions.
Own your domain and be accountable for it.
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
