Full Job Description Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm, seeks a full time Survey Technician for our Fort Worth, TX office. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess an ambitious work ethic, be a great team player who gets along well with others, is willing and able to travel as needed for extended periods, and enjoys working outside year round, and very dependable and punctual. You may be working on a variety of projects including topographic, boundary, and right of way surveying projects.
Required Skills
• Some understanding of CAD (Microstation/AutoCad) based platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of Trimble Buisness Center or post-processing software is a plus.
• Knowledge of different field coding (and its use) is a plus.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience utilizing Trimble surveying instrumentation.
Required Experience
• Three to five years working survey experience,
• Experience in the operation of all instrumentation required for the collection or distribution of survey data (GPS, robotic total station, data collector, and level), good math and problem solving skills, and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Position requires non- restrictive driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently to project sites.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
