Job Description
The candidate shall provide direct systems engineering support, applying engineering skills and knowledge in support of the following engineering technical activities (these activities are primarily hard engineering as opposed to network or Information Systems engineering and cover the integration of multiple disciplines)
Requirements Definition
• Requirements Analysis
• System Architecture design
• System Specification Development
• Technical Discovery and Evaluation
• Technical input to vendor product development (system definition, design, integration, test and evaluation)
• Assist in the development of Statements of Work/Statement of Objectives (SOW/SOO)
• Participation in program milestone events such as PDR, CDR, and TRRs
• Creation and Review of technical briefings, test plans, and test reports
• Evaluating systems performance to include participation in laboratory and field testing
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Education: BS/BA in one of the following disciplines: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, Computer Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ engineering experience. Experience shall encompass a majority of the following minimum technological sub areas (sub-area experience is not cumulative, for example personnel could obtain sub area experience in multiple areas over the same experience period):
• Sub Area Experience:
• Two years’ experience in the development and monitoring of Systems Engineering policies and procedures
• One year experience with the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques
• One year experience with the integration of sensors on unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
• One year experience Sensors (seismic, acoustic, magnetic, infrared, etc.)
• One year experience Logical and physical communications system design
• One year experience RF communications including line of sight and beyond line of sight/ SATCOM systems and waveforms
• One year experience with the planning and execution of developmental and operational testing (DT/OT
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI
