Full Job Description FOr I Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs. Identifies and addresses operational, financial and technological risks. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Collaborates with constituents throughout the organization to manage change, improve processes, facilitate system understanding, and drive automation.
Assists the Senior Business Systems Analyst in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and maintenance of systems in support of business unit requirements.
Assists the IT Manager in overseeing the Call Center. Monitors, reviews, and assists with help desk tickets to serve as an escalated level of support.
Assists the Network Analyst in troubleshooting and/or performing corrective actions on hardware issues at the Tampa office.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Technology, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
• Business-minded IT professional who is passionate about technology/innovation, and servant leadership
• Analytical, highly organized, great attention to detail, and able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Proven experience in gathering requirements, testing, and deploying large IT projects on time and within budget
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions using data visualization techniques and tools
• Understanding of SQL, MySQL or similar database technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Office 365, Access, Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Capable of managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Some administration experience with Active Directory and an understanding of common network hardware.
Preferred Qualifications
• Two or more years of experience as a business analyst using object oriented and component-based technologies (Java/J2EE, etc.)
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and frameworks
• Knowledge of project management tools like Confluence and Jira
• Familiarity with relational database concepts, client-server concepts and/or object-oriented Analysis (OOA)
• Experience gathering business requirements and documenting Use Cases
• Good understanding of project and time management principles
