Job Description Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Security Assistance/ Security Cooperation Planner to help support USASOC in delivering training, educating, organizing, sustaining and support to forces conducting special operations across the full range of military operations and spectrum of conflict in support of Joint Forces Command (JFC) and inter-agency partners to meet theater and national objectives.
As a Security Assistance/ Security Cooperation Planner, you will develop new solutions, process and standards while communicating with parties external to your organization, which includes the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Theater Special Operations Commands and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise, the interagency and its community of interest (COI).
Responsibilities
• Provide planning and policy guidance, coaching, and training to less-experienced employees within the Modernization Analyses, Assessment and Planning functional Group (MAAP) and the Identification, Integration, and Innovations Center (I3C) and across the SOFETOPS enterprise within your area of expertise of SA/SC analysis and strategic planning and policy development.
• Initiate new SA/SC planning and policy initiatives and processes as required.
• Organize and implement related program methodologies while coordinating and integrating relevant input and data from other functional groups and technical personnel.
Qualifications
• Must have a current TS/SCI Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience, or associate degree and 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with five years of directly relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
