ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software technologies.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to get a DoD Secret Security Clearance (https://www.state.gov/m/ds/clearances/c10978.htm)
• Able to work independently and with small teams
• Ten years of hands-on experience in Windows Systems Administration/ Network Operations role
• Ten years of experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting client-server environments
• Ten years of experience managing internal enterprise systems to include networks, servers, system management and enterprise applications
• Part of team to provide 24x7 support and network resources availability during emergencies, disaster recovery, work from home and contract support.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or any other higher-level security certification (Will be requirement of employment if not already possessed.)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows 10
• Strong knowledge of server hardware such as HPE and Dell
• Strong knowledge of Windows services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, and DNS administration experience
• Working knowledge of Exchange 2019 Management/Troubleshooting, and Mail Client (Outlook, OWA, OA, ActiveSync) Configuration & Troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking including routing, switching, VLANs, etc.
• Experience with firewall configuration and maintenance in a multi-vendor environment
• Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills and methodology
• Ability to work evenings & weekends, sometimes with little notice
• Ability to learn new procedures, techniques, and approaches quickly
• Must be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team
BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE
• VMware v6.5/v6.7 configuration and management of virtual machines
• Veeam Backup & Replication / Veeam ONE
• Office 365 management
• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) / Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
• SAN technologies
• Knowledge in an IT security and/or compliance role.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working from home is available once the training period is completed. However, this position requires managing server hardware, workstations, and networks, so must be able to work in the office, as required. Must be willing to respond to emergency situations and come into the office to respond to emergencies.
Must enjoy working in a small company environment.
