Job ID: 570485BR Date posted: Sep. 21, 2021 Locations: Tampa, Florida Program: SOF GLSS Description: Support to the customers (USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Offices (PEO), J4, Service Components and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCS)) requires familiarity with the following processes: asset visibility, excess equipment management (disposal and redistribution), enterprise cataloging (DOD level) and property management.
- Provides enterprise level Catalog support and maintains master catalog data. Use the Special Operation Catalog Module (SOCM) to prepare and submit catalog transactions for add, change, update and delete National Stock Numbers (NSN) and Management Control Numbers (MCNs). Determine appropriate method to change catalog data and correct erroneous catalog data. Coordinate and execute catalog changes and corrections. Provide research and assistance in locating NSNs and MCNs and associated logistics data. Prepare transactions for logistical reassignment of NSNs. Provide research, analysis, assistance on policy, procedures, and business creation. Compose and prepare various logistic-related correspondences. Solve complex identification issues using critical thinking, experience and causative research skills in a fast-paced environment. Maintain/Process the Equipment Management Interface (EMI), SOCOM Federal Logistics Data (FEDLOG) reports, and SOCOM Catalog register. Assist in the development of DoD and SOCOM Catalog policy, update directives and policy documents. Achieve business and organization goals, visions and objectives. Identifying problems, creating solutions and providing alternatives courses of actions. Provide recommendations and develop improvement strategies on existing processes. Ensure performance metrics and customer requirements are met.
- Perform property management activities including but not limited to receiving, posting, issue, disposal, and any other life cycle sustainment activities in support of the task order. Perform data cleanse, analysis, reconciliation, and stock record maintenance in the assigned Accountability Property System of Records (APSR). Perform DODAAC and UIC management support within logistics systems in order to ensure electronic legitimacy and data integrity are maintained. Compose and prepare various logistic-related correspondences. Solve identification issues using critical thinking, experience and causative research skills. Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations to include metrics to senior management regarding project status.
Basic Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of governing DoD and Service supply chain and cataloging regulations, policies, procedures, instructions and associated logistic support systems, i.e., Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), FEDLOG, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Standard Study Number-Line Item Number Automated Management and Integrating System (SLAMIS), H2 Federal Supply Classification (FSC), H6 Item Name Directory, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps / Army (GCSS-MC and GCSS-A), Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Comprehensive understanding of interoperability between all services catalog and property data management. Possess intermediate skill level of Microsoft products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint (web portal). Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in enterprise accountability and/or cataloging at strategic, retail or tactical levels. Broad knowledge of DoD policy as it relates to property management and cataloging (e.g., DODI 5000.64, DODM 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, and 8320.04, DOD FMR 7000.14). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
