Position Summary: Responsible for performing and coordinating equipment deliveries, pickups and service calls in a timely and accurate manner while sustaining the highest level of care to patients. Performs equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and vehicle maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

Consults daily with location’s Branch Manager, the clients, and the Customer Service Coordinator concerning any problems and delivery schedule.

Ensures that all equipment is cleaned using Universal Precaution Standards and following the company’s infection control policy.

Ensures that all equipment is in good working condition.

Possesses the ability to give thorough training in use of equipment to patients serviced.

Arranges for deliveries and set-ups of equipment for all home care patients in coordination with the Branch Manager.

Ensures that all paperwork is completed for equipment received into or removed from the location’s inventory.

Maintains company owned vehicle used for deliveries (cleaning and periodic service).

Responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of location and surrounding area.

Performs On-Call as directed.

Maintains good relationships with clients serviced by the location (Courteous, considerate, friendly, and tactful, etc).

Assists with inventory.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:

High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience required.

One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration – Valid driver’s license. CDL license when applicable.
Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memorandums. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
