Full Job Description JOB SUMMARY
The Quality/Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory levels and integrity of the physical inventory.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Quality/Inventory Manager will report to the Plant Manager.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt (Salary)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures products adhere to the set quality standards.
2. Training and managing production line staff in best practices and quality assessment of goods.
3. Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
4. Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards.
5. Manage all inventory transaction in both Amtech and Customer Systems, trouble shoot errors and identify root causes and supply possible solutions to Management team, by providing support to Inventory Supervisor.
6. Review all inventories including Finished Goods, identify errors and direct /follow up on corrections needed.
7. Support Inventory Supervisor with research when inventory issues arise.
8. Support Inventory Department to improve accuracy and efficiency in all Plant wide inventory processes.
9. Manage & Audit all Plant and Customer quality and inventory process.
10. Work with Warehouse Manager to ensure all -route shipping discrepancies are handled properly. Notify team members of actions required and ensure all systems are updated.
11. Audit the cycle count program to validate its accuracy.
12. Accurately generate required month end reporting in a timely manner, to include Book-to-Book reconciliation.
13. Manage and direct physical inventories as needed and maintain a 99% inventory accuracy.
14. Ensure all inventory and reject reports to customers as requested.
15. Review and manage aged and obsolete inventory monthly with Account Management and process disposals.
16. Perform all tasks assigned by supervisor.
17. Train and direct the Quality Supervisor and Inventory Supervisor.
18. Establish quality standards to assist appropriate departments with new product development.
19. Assist Project Management in developing new customer specifications.
20. Support all departments with quality concerns and provide Customer assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS

· Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience and/or training in a production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring devices.
· Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Well-developed written and verbal communications skills.
· Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization.
· Previous Production Management experience.
· Strong organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
· Good analytical skills and independent decision-making.
· Computer Skills – Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, earplugs or earmuffs and safety shoes may be required to perform job tasks.
