JOB SUMMARY
Direct the activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Direct activities related to product receiving, product replenishment, order selection, order loading, USDA inspection, expense and revenue management; ensuring abidance of government regulations; providing management and direction to warehouse staff; and ensuring safety and security of the inbound and outbound warehouse departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Forecast and plan, expenses, labor, assets acquisition.
• Monitors the progress of both inbound and outbound warehouse to ensure the safe, timely and accurate receiving, storage, selection, loading and shipping  for warehouse distribution
• Plans and conducts departmental, and interdepartmental meetings
• Communicates with other departments, management, associates and customer groups via oral, written and electronic correspondence
• Directs the implementation of corporate and opco initiatives, ensures updates to labor planning tools, and market reports.
• Insures Compliance with all government regulations which include but are not limited to, OSHA, EPA, FDA, BRC, Food Safety, HACCP
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience.
Experience
• Proven experience managing supervisory-level leaders in a supply chain or distribution environment.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Professional Skills
• Ability to lead diverse employee groups to high levels of safety, efficiency and customer service.
• Ability to effectively use, implement and recommend changes to opco policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately and efficiently.
• Ability to develop, train, mentor and lead all warehouse staff.
• Ability to identify and develop talent in warehouse as well as other departments.
• Ability to effectively communicate, present information, respond to questions from associates, supervision staff, other departments, senior management and customers.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, company policies and government regulations.
• Proficient with Sysco computer systems, professional tools, Microsoft Office and Outlook
