Physicians' Clinic - Nurse (RN or LPN)

Office hours: Monday - Friday Nursing position immediately available!
Job Summary:
+ Provide atmosphere of customer service and assures clients are treated in a friendly and respectful manner.
+ Screen and process all refill requests for non-controlled and controlled medications approving and documenting those, referring to MD when early or questionable, and noting all meds that need hardcopy for the MD's signature.
+ Process any needed pre-authorizations for medications, including the chart review, seek any needed physician input, and complete all paperwork.
+ Review medications with patient following physician completion/signature.
+ Review physician instructions with patient and ensure that follow up is scheduled as ordered.
+ Maintain and update client’s medications record to reflect medications used and to monitor for potential adverse effects.
+ Document all medication activity in the client record.
+ Triage phone calls and provide support to the physicians and the APRN.
+ Respond to patient questions and phone calls.
Education Requirements
+ Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program

+ Must be licensed in KY (RN or LPN)
