Position Description

The DME Technician/Driver is responsible for delivery and set up of medical equipment and supplies. In addition, some warehouse duties are included.

Position Requirements
* Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) or Fit for Duty examination with "Capable" result required.
* Valid Florida Driver's License and driving record that qualifies as acceptable as per insurance requirements.
* Knowledge of DME preferred.
* Basic mechanical skills.
* Knowledge of Pinellas County streets.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to complete routine paperwork.
* Participate in an on call rotation.
* Must be willing and able to successfully complete computer literacy evaluation.

The individual will be required to simulate the tasks that they would normally be expected to perform in their role.
