Job title: Customer Connections Support Associate

Remote/onsite: Hybrid - (3) day minimum onsite
Saturdays are required onsite
Pay: $16.00 hr.
Hours: Fulltime position (40 hours)
Tues – Fri 9:00 am 6:30pm
Saturday’s August – May 8:45 am – 3:15 pm

Job duties:
• Provides exceptional customer service via phone, live chat, and email. All verbal and written communication is to be done in a manner which exemplifies the brand. This also entails timely, accurate management of the data housed in the customer database.
• Facilitates the achievement of core metrics by processing individual customer cases in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve personal and team productivity goals and projects with an emphasis on servicing emerging case types cross-departmentally.
• Proactively seek solutions and process improvements within scope of work and beyond to ensure the best customer experience possible.
• Assists in achieving the council’s corporate goals for membership through the implementation of membership strategies in assigned areas.
• The customer connections support associate is responsible for developing and executing effective conversion strategies to increase membership from prospective leads.
• Effectively place girl and adult members by identifying compatible opportunities and advising prospects on appropriate placement.
• Compiles and maintains catalog of current volunteer opportunities in assigned areas
• Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required

Requirements
• Successful track record of customer service experience
• Skilled at identifying customer priorities and matching them to opportunities, resulting in increased membership
• Ability to leverage technology and sales skills to effectively connect with customers.
• Demonstrated emotional and cultural intelligence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, customer relationship management systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High School Diploma required
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting if assigned to any special projects with physical paper file maintenance
