DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading. This position will also serve as backup to our delivery driver, assist when needed on the shipping floor and provide assistance with local vendor supply pickups.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Works with department managers to move trucks and trailers from one location to another according to door assignments.Moves trucks and trailers from dock to dock as needed to complete the loading process.Ensures the trailer or truck is completely loaded and secured before moving from the dock area.Arranges trucks and trailers on the yard in an orderly and efficient manner.Moves trucks and trailers for receiving when needed.Make local pickup and deliveries when neededAssisting with loading of truck will be required during non driving time.Basic Qualifications:RequirementsMust have clean driving record, must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Record checkPallet Jack and Forklift experienceTruck backing experienceThis is a full time position with hours scheduled based on production needs. Base hours will be:11am-12pm start time - A long day would be 12 plus hours and an average day would be 8:00 pm to 9:30 PM.Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour Employment Type: OTHER UNKNOWN
