Responsibilities
The Business Operations Manager focuses on developing strategic priorities, creating executive business reporting, budget planning, headcount management, and key deliverable planning.  The business manager partners with functional leaders and their teams as well as serving as a liaison to Commercial Card Service and Solution Center business partners.  This role ensures priorities are aligned to overall business strategy.  The business manager also works directly with executive and senior leadership on strategic planning, reporting and initiatives to ensure operational standards, client experience, and proper planning is in place to safeguard the business.
·         Utilize firm wide reporting tools and applications to consolidate and streamline metrics and reporting
·         Manage reporting to monitor KPIs, key risk indicators, identify trends, and make recommendations to business leaders
·         Partner with finance to manage budget and ensure team is delivering on commitments
·         Implement and manage budget and headcount management practices
·         Prepare, manage, and drive functional review process across the business, including business partners
·         Develop high quality business presentations that crisply communicate to senior leaders
·         Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and engage business and functional partner team and leaders
·         Identify and remove barriers to execution and communication
·         Coordinate tracking and reporting against progress of key deliverables to ensure financial and client commitments are met
·         Lead key business initiatives
·         Partner with functional leaders and teams to align strategies and report progress
·         Develop strategic priorities and objectives in partnership with leadership team
·         Influence functional leaders and business partners
Qualifications
• 5 to 10 years of operations, finance, or business reporting experience. Operations management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred, not required.
• Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills – ability to assimilate broad-ranging information quickly and be able to distill into key points; communicating clearly and concisely to audiences at all levels of leadership
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills with experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data
• Ability to balance competing priorities and manage to stringent time lines
• Demonstrated ability to tell the story required to influence strategic business results
• Strong client management skills
• Strong business judgement and ability to appropriately escalate as needed
