Full Job Description About Gale Healthcare Solutions
Based in Tampa, Gale Healthcare Solutions offers a technology-based marketplace to address the national nursing shortage. Since its launch in 2016, Gale has been a leader in bringing healthcare facilities on-demand workforce solutions for recruiting, credentialing, scheduling, time and attendance, communications, and pay. The mobile and web-based Gale app connects nursing professionals directly to healthcare facilities in need of clinical staff and provides caregivers with daily pay.
The Corporate Trainer role is a multifaceted position that does instructional design work and delivers training on a wide variety of topics. The person selected for this opportunity will design instructor-led training courses, eLearning courses, create training resources, create exams, certifications, and work within the Learning Management System (LMS) to achieve results. The position will also evaluate existing training efforts to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of the business.
Essential Functions
Develop, Design, and Conduct Seminars/Workshops/Individual Training: 70%
- for new and experienced employees
- create an eLearning curriculum inclusive of assessments and certifications
- create and schedule training courses
- utilize the LMS to administer courses, surveys, register participants, analyze and report on training
Build relationships with managers and employees in order to 20%
- counsel and provide guidance to managers on employee professional development
- recommend improvements and ways to streamline training sessions and methods
- escalate issues posing a business risk to management
- report on training activities to leadership
Perform needs analysis and make training recommendations. Monitor employee performance and response to training. 10%
Requirements
Travel: Up to 10% Travel
Education: 4-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Experience: At least 2 years experience building content and effectively delivering training curriculum required; at least 5 years experience building content and effectively delivering training content preferred. Experience using eLearning platforms and content development programs required.
