Overview
SUMMARY:
The Manager, Forensic Services is responsible for managing a team responding to digital forensic and litigation needs within clients' information technology environments. This position ensures that digital forensic best practices are followed as it relates to data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages a team of forensic services professionals through completion of assigned project tasks.
• Leads engagements with clients and staff.
• Works with and supports account managers.
• Provides immediate onsite support for digital forensics and litigation support.
• Conducts defensible data acquisitions and analysis.
• Identifies, collects, preserves, and processes data as part of the eDiscovery process.
• Processes collected data in various litigation support tools.
• Documents and presents findings to team and clients.
• Builds working knowledge of advanced digital forensic and eDiscovery technologies.
• Researches, identifies and understands new artifacts in enterprise computing environments.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum four years' experience with specific technology in digital forensics required. Computer forensic certifications (GCFE, GCFA, CCFE, CFCE) from an industry recognized organization required; experience with tools such as EnCase, FTK, Axiom, Nuix, Cellebrite, and other industry tools required. Consulting experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are essential to successfully translate technical concepts into reports for clients, team members and corporate leadership.
• Client service skills are necessary for interacting with various client personalities and changes to project scopes.
• This individual must be a team player, and the ability to manage task specific roles as part of client deliverables.
• Excel as a self-motivated individual who can work on their own as well as integrated with a team in a variety of situations.
• Ability and experience managing digital forensic labs and teams required.
• Additional core competencies a plus such as data analytics, eDiscovery, and/or incident response.
