Job Description
We are looking for dependable Home Health Aides to support our clients in a compassionate manner. Someone who can adapt to our clients individuality's as well as their circumstances such as; injured, disabled or elderly. While appreciating the home care industry that continues to make a difference in our Tampa Bay community. The ideal HHA has communication skills and is able to follow an assortment of responsibilities that give assistance to our clients. Employees will be required to wear scrubs and PPE.
Responsibilities • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements/Skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety stalldards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Time management skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance
