Warehouse Receiving Clerks
Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30am until Finish
Pay: $16.29/HR
Weekly Pay

Our Warehouse Receiving Clerks maintains Gordon Food Service (GFS) warehouse receiving schedule for dry, frozen or perishable products.
Some responsibilities include:
• Schedules vendor freight deliveries in accordance with warehouse capabilities and inventory need.
• Assists the Administration department with the Product Reclamation Program.
• Enters and balances purchase orders.
• Enters various other data and records truck performance.
• Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
• Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Like any job, there are some requirements:
• You must be 18 years of age or older ( required )
• High school diploma or GED equivalent ( preferred )
• May occasionally bend and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds .
• Normal Office Environment within the warehouse
• And you'll hustle --- this is a fast-paced, physically demanding environment requiring constant walking, going up/down stairs and platforms, and handling product.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass our drug screen and background check requirements (criminal background check, yes - we do not check your credit score)
• Valid email so we can follow up with you and let you know what's happening next in the process
• Must be able to work holidays and overtimeas required -- holidays are very important to our restaurant customers!
