Job Summary:
The Segment Operations Director I will work closely with the resource directors to drive resource operational processes and compliance by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms throughout the gas power segment. Will drive consistent behavior among the team, and support process/execution changes through data analysis. Will integrate and develop processes that meet resource needs across the gas power segment, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Develop and operationalize global resource management initiatives that are sustained by the gas power segment resource management teams at a global and regional level
• Develop, communicate, and monitor a standardized operating rhythm related to resource management; simplify where appropriate
• Work across functional departments to drive resource utilization strategies
• Direct the collection and analysis of operations data and compare performance to established metrics for resource utilization, assignment, mobilization, qualification, and competency
• Manage global resource operations action plans and work with action item owners to drive completion
• Responsible for translating business requirements to IT and reporting teams and resource management functional ownership of enabling tools and systems
• Develop, own, and maintain global polices as they relate to people resource management
• Define and drive compliance to resource management standard work
• Partner with HR and Recruiting teams to implement and maintain appropriate staffing strategies and tools to support them
• Lead, manage, develop, and coach global team
• Travel may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help drive our vision and align with our organization's core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering or equivalent
• 11+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 6+ years of experience in leadership positions within the power generation industry
• English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
• Master's degree preferred

• Analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with lean concepts and tools
• IT systems and process knowledge (Microsoft applications, SFDC/ServiceMax )
• Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting processes, vendors, and industry standards
