Job Summary:
The Forecasting Analytics Specialist III will develop practical and innovative ways to connect upcoming business opportunities with operational fulfillment planning. integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Facilitate and develop global and regional people resource (including TFA and Craft) forecasts based on all available data sources including, but not limited to, SFDC, historical data, Oracle, and the long-term outage forecast
• Collaborate with data analytics team, resource management, P&L and finance to provide estimates of field services demand
• Own the transfer function/relationship between upcoming outages (gas power segment) and the associated impact on field resources performance metrics, including utilization
• Monitor, report and deliver insights on resource management key performance metrics and identify opportunities for problem solving that will improve fulfillment
• Provide key leadership within the operations planning process and regional resource management teams
• Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly sessions with key stakeholders to ensure communication of all tactical planning needs and real-time availability of the business demand case and performance metrics
• Prepare and communicate presentations for senior leadership
• Travel may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help drive our vision and align with our organization's core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 7+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 2+ years of in power generation or technical industry experience
• English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification
• Analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with lean concepts and tools
• Skill set in advanced MS Excel functions
• Comprehension of Tableau, and other reporting tools
• Draw conclusions based on multiple data sets
• Self-starter able to drive change with a limited degree of direct guidance
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and manage within diverse and global cultures
• Capable of achieving results with limited resources and ability to implement creative solutions
• Forecasting/Planning experience
• Decision-making, oral, written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
