This is a contract / temporary recruiter opportunity to be part of the Company. It is preferred that this position be based out of the Milwaukee, WI facility (second preference Asheboro, NC) but can be 100% remote. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will help lead the recruiting for the business unit and be part of our geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team supporting our sites in many states like IL, IN, GA, NC, NY, PA, WI. While the primary focus of this role will be the CES business, there could be opportunities to work on roles with other business units with the Company field operations or corporate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities include: • Apply your sourcing, screening and candidate closing expertise to fill open requisitions, build talent pipelines, further diversity hiring initiatives, and participate in career events
• Work collaboratively with the hiring team to provide both transactional and strategic talent acquisition support to fill critical roles expeditiously
• Be a responsive and engaged team player
• Assist recruiting efforts across different disciplines, levels, and geographies
• Partner with other TA team members on team goals and projects
• Work in compliance with industry rules, regulations, and practices
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy and keep sensitive information secured
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, ideally for operators, technicians and CDL / non-CDL drivers
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, technical services, transportation, logistics, supply chain or hazardous/ non-hazardous waste management industry is desired
• Knowledge of talent sourcing strategies, with a focus on diversity
• Experience with ATS (Workday Recruiting, Peoplefluent, ICIMS, Taleo or Brassring preferred)
Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of talent acquisition concepts, practices, trends and procedures, including knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws and hiring guidelines
• Demonstrate responsiveness while operating with urgency
• Ability to build trust and credibility with all levels of the company
• Knowledge and understanding of other HR disciplines including employee relations, compensation, training, and benefits
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems / Recruitment Management Systems
• Communication and presentation skills
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
