Position Reports To Director of Sales Position Summary The primary purpose of the job: Conduct new hire and on-going sales and sales support training for the organization to include Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Account Executives for all of the compliance products, subscriptions, and materials, sold across all channels. Use exemplary presentation skills, call monitoring, skill assessment tools, and constructive, skill-building feedback when necessary. Create training materials to support the same. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Full understanding of the sales department procedures with respect to: Sales process, Customer Experience, sales methods, customer de-escalation, compliance, ethics, call flow adherence, productivity, attendance, etc. * Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to lead and manage large groups of people in the training environment. * Able to adapt lesson plans, curricula, and teaching styles to accommodate the same level of learning for all. * Able to introduce new products and sales strategies, which require modifications to the existing training content and curriculum. * Understands the psychology of persuading customers to purchase products/services to attain optimum compliance with state and federal requirements, matching customer needs with campaign specific expectations. * Understands a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of the training program to the customer service and sales force. * Understands how to execute: live, blind monitoring, and post-call coaching for new hires and existing sales professionals on effective utilization of their sales techniques. * Well developed coaching skill set; full understanding of how to customize the coaching process for maximum effectiveness. * Proven track record of success driving results across: Customer Experience and internal sales plans. * Ability to perform at a high level without close supervision. * Accept and implement frequent constructive feedback. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Duties: * Achieve success across all key deliverables: Sales, Customer Service, QA, Customer Experience. * Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly training classes to support the Sales and Customer Service departments. * Assess the employee's abilities by using assessments, call monitoring, role playing, and overall understanding of the materials presented. Endorse or hold back trainees to their respective positions. * Designing, developing, executing and continuously improving the "New Hire Sales Training Curriculum" along with "Sales Boot Camp" sessions for new hires, as well as on-going learning opportunities for the company's existing sales professionals in support of the organization's needs. * Directing specific sales training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of sales training programs. * Delivering training on core sales skills, customer escalation, software application training, and internal processes, across all functional groups. * Working with SMEs to facilitate learning related to our technology, suite of product offerings, and information about our clients and the industries. * Monitoring and measuring effectiveness of all sales training, and consistently reporting results and progress to the PC Leadership Team. * Works with sales, customer service, research, and marketing leaders to analyze performance of existing personnel so that additional training can be prescribed and developed. * Hone individual presentation skills, complete appropriate continuing education, stay connected to the positions that are trained by performing the sales and support functions as needed. * Participates in the Brady Americas' business process, by supporting and assisting in the development and execution of the Company's strategic marketing and sales plans. * Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product/service offerings, company processes, procedures and the industry as a whole. * Maintain/create relevant training materials. Stay abreast of industry best practice trends to enhance individual learning. * Minimal travel, as necessary. * Maintains well-organized and safe workstation and environment. * Experience training in a call center environment.
