Amgen Inc.; Associate Data Analytics; Tampa FL : Utilize quantitative and analytical skills to support the development of data analytic and reporting capabilities within global information protection (GIP) function; Responsible for developing, administering, and enhancing cybersecurity metrics and analytics platform which collocates GIPs data in a data warehouse on the enterprise data lake (EDL) and structures it in a central repository in preparation for strategic, operational, and tactical reporting for GIPs internal and external stakeholders; Develop unified dashboards displaying strategic, operational, and tactical level views of various metrics using analytics tools such as Tableau, Databricks, Spotfire, or R; Maintain the programs vision and ensure interoperability of cost effective and authorized technologies in cloud environments; Collaborate crossfunctionally with analysts, engineers, data scientists to identify & prioritize requirements, brainstorm solutions, and clarify business objectives for data-centric solutions in order to achieve continuous improvement in cyber defense/resilience; Work with metric owners to provide clear documentation for metrics and processes, integrating documentation with the appropriate stakeholders; Develop, implement, and sustain operational scripts, data structures, libraries and programming code that optimize security in emergent compute patterns with diverse applications throughout the global environment; and Analyze, design, develop and operate programs, shell scripts, tests, and infrastructure automation capabilities in an advanced security context. MASTERS DEGREE IN BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, BUSINESS ANALYTICS & INFORMATION SYSTEMS, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD AND COMPLETION OF A UNIVERSITY-LEVEL COURSE, RESEARCH PROJECT, INTERNSHIP, THESIS, OR ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE INVOLVING THE FOLLOWING: DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING ANALYTICS SOLUTIONS BY COLLABORATING WITH STAKEHOLDERS INCLUDING BUSINESS PARTNERS, COLLEAGUES, AND TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES VENDORS; INVOLVEMENT IN THE DESIGNING AND TESTING OR BUILDING AND IMPLEMENTING OF END-TO-END SOLUTIONS USING CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS AMAZON WEB SERVICES, S3, DATABRICKS OR OTHER SAAS SOLUTIONS; PERFORMING ANALYTICS AND DEVELOPING REPORTS USING TABLEAU AND SPOTFIRE, AND CREATING REPORTS AND DASHBOARDS; TESTING PROCESSES AND VALIDATING DATA IN THE DATAWAREHOUSE USING DBVISUALIZER; PERFORMING DATA EXPLORATION AND BUILDING REPORTS AND STATISTICAL MODELS AROUND THE DATA PATTERNS IN THE SECURITY DATA; AND ENGAGING IN CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES TO EASE THE PROCESS OF MONITORING AND MANAGING RESISTANCE AND DEPENDENCIES. 40 hours per week.
