Duties & Responsibilities
• Partner with Sr. HR Compliance Analyst to create and roll out programs related to Covid-19 compliance according to applicable law.
• Monitor benefits and leaves laws and create and implement policies and practices in all 50 US states.
• In conjunction with the benefits team, manage the American with Disabilities Accommodation process.
• Support international and domestic background check progress. Serve as a backup for initiating and clearing background checks.
• Partner on creating notices within the HR system and propose enhancements to current process.
• Proactive recruitment audits including auditing the roles, partnering with local practices to disposition candidates, and prompting offices to close out jobs that are no longer to reduce audit risk.
• Create and audit hiring procedures and other employment regulations particularly within onboarding.
• Inform the HR Business Partner team when state laws are changing. Propose policies and steps to implement.
• Partner with other team members on EEO and affirmative action plan creation with an external vendor. Maintain compliance records and produce reports including EEO and affirmative action plans in conjunction with external vendors including preparation of compliant plans.
• Coordinate employee handbook changes, working with local practices to update local handbooks, updating the US handbook to include policies, creating an international handbook, collecting all international handbooks to be included in onboarding, and working with HRIS to create an acknowledgment of all federal and state employee handbooks.
• Partner with learning and development team to oversee and execute anti-harassment training and process for attestations of HR compliance topics.
• Documents and practices to ensure conformance and compliance to local, state, and federal requirements. Research and create policies and procedures for created requirements.
• Develop project-related communications and presentations.
• Co-develop project processes and timelines. Work with project managers to plan, drive, and monitor projects.
• Identify opportunities to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update HR SharePoint site.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• HR experience Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in HR Compliance or HR Generalist functions.
• Knowledge of and experience with State and Federal employment regulations.
• Communication and  thinking skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and information.
• Ability to manage and follow through on multiple priorities and assignments.
