The Senior Provider Data Analyst of Provider Depiction, Analytics & Recovery (PDAR) is responsible for the project oversight and data analytics in order to meet a multimillion dollar targeted metric for the Medicare & Retirement line of business. The assigned projects include, but are not limited to: contract defect identification, working extensively with data and IT/Reporting areas to generate reports/analyze reports, data analytics, working with other areas to perform system corrections. Manage multiple recovery projects concurrently, while maintaining a high level of quality and commitment to project timeframes (gathering of requirements to execution)

Primary Responsibilities:
• Analyze provider and claims data to identify trends and issues related to provider loading.
• Coordinate work activities with other departments including Network Management, Claims, Recoveries etc.
• Assist to develop plans to meet project objectives.
• Identify and resolve operational issues
• Maintain status reports and communicate project status weekly/as needed
• Analyze and investigate provider and claims data to result in recovery opportunities
• Provide leadership with suggestions for possible recovery opportunities
• Provide feedback on findings
• Oversee assigned projects to completion
• Creative thinking that allows for the formulation of defect scenarios and/or trends based on past professional experience, trends in contract and/or claims data, audit data, etc.

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of data analysis and/or audit experience within the healthcare industry
• 2+ years of experience in managing cross functional projects and creating presentations
• 2+ years of experience in Contract Loading, Claims Processing/adjusting, Claims Recoveries, and or Reimbursement Analytics
• Facility provider contract loading/claims/auditing knowledge
• Professional provider contract loading/claims/auditing knowledge
• Experience performing comprehensive research and identifying provider contract load issues, erroneous billing or reimbursement issues, and/or irregularities or trends that depict claim monetary overpayments to the providers
• Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics
• Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Experience in contract interpretation and industry standard reimbursement guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree
• Medicare and Retirement experience
• Knowledge of the following platforms/applications: COSMOS, NICE, NDB, Emptoris, Navigator
• Project management experience
• Working knowledge of  MS Access and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively between two or more activities or sources of information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make decisions and work independently

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $25.63 to $45.72.
