Operating in markets from cosmetics and personal care to pharmaceutical and supplements and to food and beverage, AAC’s material-neutral design and sourcing helps customers find the right packaging materials throughout their product lines and distribution channels.
The Customer Experience Professional is to build customer loyalty and confidence by receiving and processing customer orders, inquiries and/or issues covering products ordered. This position is responsible for maintaining the ongoing relationship with multiple customers and sales staff utilizing knowledge of products, logistics, production planning and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate with customers (by phone or in person) to understand needs and concerns
• Input and track customer information, orders and follow-up actions i nto the CRM database to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
• Provide various products, pricing, inventory availability and production schedule information to customers
• Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents to share with management and customers
• Perform basic merchandising and order placements activities such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders and completing stock replenishment orders
• Identify and resolve potential problematic customer issues and alert management
• Recommend changes in process and procedures based on customer feedback
• Identify potential customers by using publicly available lists such as trade directories and internet searches
• Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Work Experience:
• 5-10 years Customer Service experience preferred..
• Punctual and regular attendance
• Strong customer service (friendly, courteous and helpful) and communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
• Ability to recognize, negotiate and resolve majority of issues independently
• Consistently exhibit high level of motivation, sense of urgency, problem-solving and time management skills
• Develop an in depth understanding of Veritiv products, services, processes and procedures
• Good system skills including but not limited to: MS CRM, AX, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Contribute to providing a safe work environment
Education:
• High School diploma and GED preferred.
